Start planning for the annual Saskatoon Heartbeat Run in support of the Pattisons Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan and The Mending Little Hearts Fund.
This scenic course starts and finishes at the University of Saskatchewan – Diefenbaker North (the northwest side of Diefenbaker Centre. Diefenbaker Ct & Campus Dr).
Don’t miss out on a great fall day where you will overlook the North Saskatchewan River and the breath-taking views of trees turning colour and leaves falling.

By registering for the race, you agree to the event terms and conditions. The registration is binding and fees will not be refunded if you are forced to cancel unless you have taken out race insurance and meet the conditions of this insurance.
WHAT YOU GET
All entrants receive a great moisture wicking race tshirt! Entries received before September 6 are guaranteed a shirt – and sizing!
Once you cross the finish, you will be rewarded with a great commemorative Heartbeat Run Medal.
Chip Timing! Using a chip on the racebib, your time is recorded from the time you cross the starting line to you cross the finish!
Cool down with some great finishline snacks!

The event is based at the University of Saskatchewan – Diefenbaker Centre (Northwest side close to the meewasin pathway)
There is ample parking next to the Edwards Schoold of Business.
Please arrive early as parking is ‘first come-first serve’

Start and finish at Diefenbaker Centre by UofS, head north on Meewasin trail towards Train Bridge, turn around at the 2.5k point by the Train Bridge, there will also be a water station, come back the same way you went out, throw your hands in the air when crossing the finish line for an epic finisher picture! WATER STATIONS – THIS IS A CUPFREE EVENT
Refreshments are served at ONE Station per lap . Waterbottles will be available to pickup and fill your container.
THE FINISH LINE
After passing the finish line please move forward 200 meters. Just past the finish, you will find fruit, muffins & more!

DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES
We will not be providing age group awards at this years event.
Results will be posted onsite as they are updated and official results will be posted on our website within 24hours of the event.

The Mending Little Hearts Fund is a designated charitable fund created in partnership with Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
This fund allows you to make directed donations toward addressing the unmet needs of children living with heart conditions from all across Saskatchewan.
Your contributions will improve the health, wellbeing and survival of these children by:
Providing additional equipment for diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of their conditions
Establishing educational resources for these children and their families
Developing support services for these families at the time of diagnosis and procedures
Allowing a child and family to attend the highly successful annual CHAMPS summer camp

Tax receipts will be issued for gifts of $25 or more and will be mailed out by the charity at the end of the year.
